Many students applying to medical schools have spent their summers with us. They gain insight to the importance of holistic healthcare, practice hands-on clinical skills, and practice critical thinking to address challenges of serving low-income, under- and uninsured families. 

Due to our small staff and individualized summer program, we only accept volunteers who are in undergraduate programs or higher. Volunteer internships take place in the summer, with flexible dates and hours depending on academic calendars.
